pasted to frontis. Printed by Joseph Causton & Sons,
London. With bookseller's ticket of H. Cleaver, Bath to fr.
pastedown. Binding Very Good (cloth moderately soiled, &
extremities sl. bumped); contents Very Good (remnants of tape repair to
gutter between half-title & frontis, & lt. foxing to 1st &

"Shortly after the appearance of Medea at the Royal Academy in 1869, a slim volume was published, elegantly printed & bound, containing Medea: a Poem by Alfred Bate Richards, w/a photograph of Sandys's picture as frontispiece.
