Tennyson, Alfred Lord (1809-92, English Poet Laureate), AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED.  ALS written entirely in the poet's hand on his embossed "Farringford, Freshwater, Isle of Wight" stationery, dated "Feby 16th 1872" to "Sir," concerning an overdue book sent to the recipient, signed "ATennyson," 1 side, approx. 30 words.  Near-Fine (small chips to top left & bottom right corners).  (Inv. #590)  C$800
