Rossetti, W. Holman Hunt, Arthur Hughes, William Morris, E. Burne-Jones, etc. (all w/captioned & "Express Bank" watermarked tissue-guards), & introduction by C.J. Holmes, in original plain buff dust-jacket.  Stated Limited Edition (286/300) printed at the University Press, Oxford.  From the library of William E. Fredeman, the Pre-Raphaelite scholar.  Fredeman related that when he visited the Library in about 1960 he asked the porter if any copies of this book remained for sale; the porter searched & found a few copies, & Fredeman bought this one at its original price (10s. 6p.).  Dust-jacket Very Good (extremities moderately chipped w/spine-tips lacking); binding Near-Fine; contents Near-Fine (verso of final plate browned as usual).  Fredeman 36.8 & 79.3, Fennell 953.  (Inv. #1185)  C$600
